The TandaHub led initiatives are CAT (Capital Access Transformation), EAIE (Equal Access and Information Equity), ENACT (National Advancement through Creativity & Technology), HERITAGE (Holistic Economic Resource Infrastructure for Transformative And Gender Equitable Development), INVETRAX (Investments and Trade Acceleration), REFNOW (Refugee Focus Now), TONDA (Transformative Open Network for Development and Advancement), TRUSTLINK PIPELINE, TURAMA (Tourism for Regional Advanced Medical Access) and VAGA (Value Addition for Growth and Advancement)

Context and Strategic Rationale: We face persistent challenges including youth unemployment, rural poverty, financial exclusion, limited access to healthcare, and inadequate industrialization. At the same time, opportunities exist in oil production, agriculture, digital transformation, medical tourism, and regional trade amonst other spaces.

TandaHub’s approach addresses these challenges by:

• Digitizing the economy through Econoplat and TONDA.

• Unlocking urban-industrial growth through Oil City.

• Transforming agriculture through VAGA.

• Promoting financial inclusion through REFNOW.

• Accelerating investments and trade through INVETRAX.

• Fostering equitable access to information through EAIE.

• Driving knowledge-based innovation through ENACT.

• Positioning Uganda as a regional medical hub through TURAMA.

This integrated model positions TandaHub as a strategic private sector partner to the Government of Uganda, UN agencies, and development partners.

Econoplat is the digital platform used leveraged by the TandaHub Initiatives. It is designed to address information inequities, market fragmentation, and limited financing channels amonst other functions, while providing a holistic ecosystem that integrates collaborative and communication tools, business development services, funding and capitalization mechanisms, market linkages, customer relationship management (CRM), project tracking, and knowledge sharing across multiple sectors.
